Dfrost is just an amazing place! People are great, atmosphere is awesome, surf is fun and the teachers are very skillfull, patient and passionate. There is delicious food and the rooms are spacious and clean as are the shared bathrooms. Yoga was the perfect addition to the surfing and to practice it on the rooftop terrace just felt great. Definitely a surfers paradise!

Amazing! Mzyaaan Bzeef!
Airport pick up smooth and easy, takes ca. 45 min to surf house.
Surf house is cozy and comfortable. Staff couldn't be more warm and nice. I travelled solo and stayed in dorm room which was clean and organized. Place is located in an amazing location to watch sunrise/sunset with great view of Atlantic ocean. Good place for people who want to relax and chill out.
Surfing is about fun, and instructors were so friendly and funny. Instructors were driving all around Atlantic coast to find best surfing spot for us.
Taghazout is a very small town with few shops and local restaurants.
It was a very good experience staying @ Dfrost and I am sure I will be back inchallah mainly to meet surfing instructors, hosts, cook who were so friendly :-)!

3 visits in 3 months - Should I say more?
I have visited Dfrost 3 times in as many months this year - when I first tell people this they think I'm crazy but really I'm just very lucky, very happy
and very tanned! As soon as you spend some time in Tagazhout with the guys at Dfrost you will understand why I keep coming back. Each time I have travelled
by myself and spent the week doing surf and yoga, each week has been brilliant and I come home with new friends, new skills and great memories. From
the moment I get picked up from the airport to the moment I'm dropped off again I have a huge grin on my face - the place is perfect and everybody
who works there wants you to have a great time.
Firstly, the house itself is great and really starts to feel like a home from home, you feel so comfortable just hanging out and relaxing with the other guests and hosts. The dorm rooms are really nice and clean and I loved waking up with a view of the ocean. Its so nice to eat your breakfast out on the terrace in the sunshine and watching the waves. Which brings me on to the food which is so good! I'm gluten intolerant and chef Mo always made sure there was something tasty I could eat at breakfast and dinner, they even provided a lunch box so I could take a salad to the beach.
Secondly, the surfing! Its bloody brilliant, each of the surf instructors is great and you can really feel like they want you to have a good time on the waves. I was lucky that my first lesson was with Abdrahim who is really patient and will keep you laughing even if you keep falling off! Since then I have been taught by all the instructors and I've really enjoyed picking up tips from them all and improving. They make each day so much run and really look after the guests.
Finally, the yoga! Such a perfect companion to a day of surfing, this time I managed to wake up every morning in time to do yoga twice a day. I cannot recommend it enough! It's put you in such a good mood to start the day and stretching out in the afternoon meant I never had aches and pains from surfing all day. Claudia was a fantastic teacher and really helped me improve my strength and flexibility.
If you are considering a surf trip or a visit to Tagazhout book yourself in for a stay at Dfrost - come with the aim to have an amazing week and I know you will. Thank me later xx

Most awesome week!
I have been around for some surf-getaways, but this one has been the most relaxed and awesome ones! Not to mention the surf! Still stoked about my infinity
wave at Imsouane!!!
I met some nice people from all over the world and the staff is great! They'll make sure you feel at home.
I upgraded my room to a single stay with an ocean few. The surf and yoga house was just super chillax. The terrace and living area are great places to sit and hang or use the hottub with an exceptional few of the ocean. The ladies keep it clean and make sure breakfast and dinner are ready in time.
The small village of Taghazout has some cute restaurants, but don't expect too much of the village. The guys took us out to some clubs in Agadir. Experience an authentic hammam VIP treatment while you're at it.
I would recommend it to everybody, surf or no surf!

Amazing surf week
Great hostel! Very nice people. So many good surf spots around. Excellent food and everything was well organized. Great oceanview from the terrace. They
have really good knowledge of the surfspots around. The only thing that can be better is that I would like it if they make (more) pictures of the "Pointbreak
Group". I would definitely come back here!

Real people, real local surfing guides, really helpful in and out of the water. Yassine, Mounir & Kamal are great guys. Highly recommended to find the waves and progress your surfing. The house is excellent too. Have sessions all over Taghazout, then come home and have a sundown session in front of the house. Come in jump straight in the hottub, open a beer. Dinner follows shortly. What more do you want? Get out there!

Great instructors, host and hostel
What a joy to stay at Dfrost surfhouse last week! Excellent rooms, nice common room, good food, relaxed atmosphere! Many thanks to Hicham, for his good instructions during the surf lessons and his enthousiasm!! And to the staff at Dfrost for creating such an open and relaxed feel at the surfhouse. Thanks Sander, for the nice (reggae) music that kept us in the relaxed mode during the exciting evening games ;-)

A perfect week!
I booked an all inclusive Surf and Treat package because I wasn't sure what to do so I removed indecision. This included accommodation in a private room, all meals, 5 surf lessons, a trip to Marrakesh, and 14 yoga lessons (doing all of this was probably wishful thinking on my part! Good intentions eh. You can certainly save money by choosing another deal and then adding as you wish, but all that came to about €650 (can't go wrong). There are other places in the same town but I really think Dfrost has the best set up from what I hear.
I was packed up at Agadir airport by one of the owners Mo, a very friendly guy. All the staff have a wonderful way about them; professional / friend-like / chilled out
The surf instructors are great fun and very good teachers
There is no fixed start and end to the activities, different people showed up and simply blended into the rhythm of activities hassle free.
I did get up super early to enjoy a sunrise yoga flow. Beautiful. The sunset yoga was even more beautiful.
The vibe is very international, plenty of opportunity to hang out and make new friends on the terrace and in the village of Taghazout, which is like a Moroccan surf magnet, very laid back. Nevertheless there is never any sense of pressure to join in or do anything or even talk to anyone if you don't want. Just hang out and read a book; live and let live, everyone who goes there gets that.
The food was good and there was always enough. There was some beer in the fridge...but of course this is Morocco and you are there to move your body, after a day of (attempting) surfing you're not bothered or stressed and don't feel like a beer.
Of course this is a surf camp, you can get lessons everyday if you are a beginner like me, but there are seasoned surfers from all over the world who were there too. They went in a different group to tougher locations. But at the end of the day everybody feels like they are part of the one tribe. No competition whatsoever.
I tried a bit too hard and ended up hurting my ribs, my own impatience, and so I missed one day of surfing and a trip to Marrakesh. If you are generally unfit - take it slow! I did however join a trip to Paradise Valley which was stunning. I missed out on the more physical activities but to be honest I was just happy to be there, long walks on quiet beaches and time to think.
The one thing I did find difficult - the bed was too hard in my room!
This is not a 5 star hotel. This is not boot camp.
It is a place to feel alive. I will be return for sure

Perfect Surf Holidays
We just went home from a perfect week spent at Dfrost Almugar Surf Hostel. Everything was just fantastic!
Our stay was perfectly organized and planned from the airport pick up until the last day.
The staff where incredible hosts, always there for us, very nice and so well organized.
The surf instructors where absolutely professional and gave so many good advices, I progressed a lot in only one week.
The yoga lessons on the roof top with Sade have been relaxing and challenging (in a very good way ).
The hostel is perfectly clean and situated right on the beach in Taghazout.
Food was amazing, I don’t know if I preferred the nutritious breakfast with fresh orange juice, delicious bread or pancakes or the dinners…
I would always recommend this place to any of my friends and would love to come back one day!
