A sunny break to relax and be a healthy yogi
Yoga lessons were very good. The shala house, the rooftop, the food, the spirit of the villa, the proximity to the ocean, the service, the kindness of people, the relaxation that come necessarily !

Excellent attention to detail
The yoga instructors (Sjaan and Elena) were true professionals. Excellent attention to detail, corrected postures, explained reasons for the postures and gave meaning to the practise. The massages were excellent. It was Sjaan and Elena who made the experience better than expected. I think that this should be acknowledged. I will follow them to Santorini! The host (Dominika) did an amazing job of settling everyone in, making them feel welcome, was always there when you had a question and made sure everyone had what they needed.

The yoga was superb and the studio created the perfect atmosphere. The food was sublime. Literally the best vegetarian food I’ve had over a week. The variety and quality was super. Hostess Dominica was lovely and super organised. Surfing was great with super empty beaches and the instructors had great English.

Beyond our best expectations
Villa Surya and Dfrost surf yoga provide an incredible break from life in London. The food that was included was incredible. Delicious, varied, healthy and plentiful. The yoga was inspiring and uplifting. Both teachers Leva and Elena were superb and the standard was very high. Although both were different and has differing approaches to yoga. The surfing was exceptional value and amazing clear beaches to practise again and again. Dominica was a fantastic smiling hostess, who was both efficient and friendly. This is my second surf & yoga holiday and I have been exceptionally lucky again. Great vibe and brilliant organisation.

Wonderful relaxing retreat
Just got back from a wonderful stay at Villa Surya ... everyone tells me how rested and well I look and I feel it! In only 5 days this place worked its magic, I thoroughly recommend it for anyone who feels the need to take rest. The yoga is great - 2 classes a day, suitable for all levels. I’ve practiced yoga for about 12 years but believe there’s always more to learn and definitely learnt from both the fantastic teachers thank you Elena & Sian. The food is wonderful .... fresh, wholesome and healthy and the best breakfast you’ll eat anywhere, and beautifully presented. The staff are friendly and super helpful, really welcoming and personable making everyone feel at home thank you Dominika! The Villa itself is cosy but spacious... lots of quiet corners and places to relax and just stop for a few days.... the local, traditional quiet location adds to this and makes you rest. Did I mention the gorgeous beach too? Finally, the room is comfortable and meets all your needs, and the jacuzzi whilst star-gazing was a delight. I will be back!

Wonderful welcome, delicious food, lovely community atmosphere and fantastic yoga teachers. I highly recommend a visit, particularly if you're looking for a solo escape. Beach across the road, optional trips to nearby (and not so near) towns/cities and a hot tub on the roof! What more could you ask for? I didn't think about work even once while I was here. I'll be sending all my friends.

I just loved it
This holiday was less luxury and in many ways the most simple one i had in the last years. And I just loved it. It helped that I did not set much expectations.
I was tired from work, from the dark grey sky, and i went for the blue sky, the sun, the daily yoga exercises, the all-in service. I got that all and that
was indeed very comforting. But also, I soon fell in love with the simpleness of life there, in a small village where people still smile from their hearts
and where i could still stroke dogs and cats living in open air. There was not much to do and that quietness brought me happiness in such a simple way.
The house and its people take very good care of us guests. Not just in a professional way like I'm used to in hotels, but more in a kind, sweet way like
with family and dear friends. The yoga teachers bring the special spirit to the house, and 3 hours of yoga with them and other guests is uplifting. Last
but not least, the staff who clean the rooms, prepare food, clean the fountain...I do not see them a lot but always enjoy their gentle kindness when I
Interactions with other guests was a big bonus point, though it was not my intention to seek social connections actively. Things flow naturally in the house and among people. It is a place filled with gentle happiness. Everybody will have a unique experience with this holiday I believe.
I am very grateful for mine being so perfect, and wish that you find what you are looking for.

The ideal combination of rest and fun ;)
I have just come back from 5 days at Villa Surya and it was great! All the staff is so nice, the house is great (roof top with sea view, jaccuzi under the stars at night, patio, 5 min from the beach), the food is yummy, and yoga classes perfect! The ideal combination of rest and fun ;)

I loved the yoga shala, the food was outstanding
I stayed here for 3 nights with my sister. We shared a triple room. All the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The yoga was excellent...thank you so much Elena and Cory. I loved the yoga shala, morning session with sunrise and afternoon one with sunset. The food was outstanding. The house is well situated, minutes from the beach and with lovely views. Even our fellow guests were lovely...a respectful loving atmosphere of big hearted people. Thank you all. I thought the package was good value..yoga retreats can often be surprisingly expensive!

The atmosphere in the hotel is amazing
The atmosphere in the hotel is amazing, it's more like a shared living room, especially through the warm smile and welcome of Domenika, our host during the week we were there. The (shared) room was neat but basic. No balcony but the beds were great. The vegetarian food was very tasty and diverse, all the compliments to the cook! It was very close to the beach which was quiet.
